Episode 010 - New Year's Six college football extravaganza

News-Herald sports editor Mark Podolski joins us for a marathon edition of the show as we preview the New Year’s Six college football bowl games. Will Ohio State be motivated for its Fiesta Bowl matchup with Notre Dame? Is there a better setting in sports than the Rose Bowl? Is Alabama living off its reputation at this point or is the Tide dynasty still alive? What were the organizers of this thing thinking by allowing the semifinals to be played on New Year’s Eve? Will there be any reason to watch the Peach Bowl at noon on New Year’s Eve or the Sugar Bowl in primetime on New Year’s Day? (Spoiler: Sure, it’s still college football.)

Episode 009 – Cavs-Warriors, The Rivalry Awakens

With the Cavs and Warriors about to meet for the first time since the NBA Finals, the guys welcome their first guest, Mark Meszoros, News-Herald assistant managing editor/features and a Cavs diehard, for an all-NBA edition of the pod. Topics covered include: memories of past Cavs games on Christmas Day, storylines from the first 25 games of the season, and how the Cavs match up with the reigning champs. (At the end, we made sure to get a few movie recommendations from Meszoros, too.)

Episode 008 – Bucks to the Fiesta, Cavs near full strength

In a rare Sunday night episode, the guys look back on last weekend’s announcement that Ohio State is headed to the Fiesta Bowl to play Notre Dame. Plus, with Iman Shumpert back and Kyrie Irving returning soon, the Cavs are just about whole. What will be their keys to getting the most out of the rest of the regular season?

Episode 007 - Last hope for the Buckeyes, T-shirt tosses in Loudville

With Ohio State sitting out conference championship weekend, the guys break down what needs to happen for the Buckeyes to have any chance of making the College Football Playoff. Plus: The Browns’ crazy loss on Monday Night Football was still a win in the long term, and Tom dodges T-shirts (and dumb fans) in Loudville to watch Cavs-Nets on Saturday night.

Episode 006 – Last call for Johnny, Buckeyes look to rally, Cavs keep chugging

Plans for a Browns-free pod go awry with the announcement that Johnny Football has been demoted to the third string after his latest off-the-field exploits. The Johnny Era is probably done in Cleveland, but could Mike Pettine stick around into 2016? Plus: It’s Michigan week, and Ohio State attempts to regroup after a bizarre loss to Michigan State. What happened vs. Sparty, and what’s left to play for in The Game? And finally, it was an interesting week for LeBron and Co. The Cavs are quietly rolling in a significantly improved East (even if no one outside of Cleveland is talking about it).

Episode 005 – Big game for the Bucks (finally!), teaching moments for the Cavs

With Michigan State coming to Columbus, Ohio State finally faces a real test this weekend. Vegas isn’t convinced, as the Buckeyes are somehow favored by 13. The SEC, meanwhile, continues its annual tradition of feasting on cupcakes in the second-to-last week of the season, and the Big 12 and Pac-12 are still on the outside looking in. What does it all mean for the college football playoff race? Plus, what can the Cavs take away from losses at Milwaukee and Detroit (Hint: Avoid Mozgov and Mo defending a pick-and-roll at all costs), and how will their lineup look different with Kyrie and Shump?
